This is absolutely beautiful, the colour scheme and perspective and architecture are all fantastic!

radshoe responds:

Glad you like it! Thanks! ;D

The lighting and atmosphere are absolutely beautiful.

YakovlevArt responds:

It took me a few tries to get it to this stage. Had to redo it twice.

I agree with the other guy! The colours are awesome and that background must have taken forever. Great piece!

torithefox responds:

The background actually took the least amount of time! I just scribbled with a big spray brush and went over it with a smaller one.

Looks great! I would suggest using more of a variety of greens to make it interesting, because the monotone green makes it look a little flat. I love the idea and the composition though, and the lighting is so nice and glowy! Nice job :)

Kamikaye responds:

Thx ! :) Mmh yea, you got a point there. I will keep that in mind when doing something like this again.

Oh my god I think I would die if I attempted that. Nice job doing so much detail-orientated, painstaking work! I love the illumination you portrayed on the shell of the beetle. Awesome!

MojoRising responds:

Well thank you! It is a pain staking sequence to do these right but really worth it in the end!

I think you've got a nice background! You might want to consider spending more time on the details though, and the girl definitely needs work. I really do love the background, though. Nice job!

Acrylla responds:

Thanks for the critique!

I agree on every level, characters has never been my thing but I'm working on it. I think I tried to do too much at the same time without the knowledge to really pull it off.

Landscapes is what I've always had a talent with, but I'm not giving up on characters yet :)

Looks pretty cool! I agree with you on the blue, it adds a little highlight. I'd like to see a more complicated version sometime in the future!

RogueRobot responds:

More complicated? I usually do things once and then do nothing with them again. I might consider doing touch-ups on this one, but I'd rather get to those other sketches that I still need to remake. But thanks for your compliments!

It's pretty good except the linework is a bit messy. Nice work! Maybe thinner lines and some design on the boots might make it look more professional.

Nimerion responds:

Thank you for the tips!
Actually i still have some problem with the digital inking, but I'm trying to improve it gradually :)
